Position seeks an individual who is either currently attending or recently graduated from a construction-related four year curriculum at a college or university. Position may be either part-time or full-time with the goal of advancement towards permanent employment. Engineering work includes office and field opportunities incorporating a wide variety of technical and management tasks associated with geotechnical engineering, construction inspection and material testing laboratory. The successful candidate must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written with the ability to work efficiently in a fast paced office environment. A successful candidate must be able to properly follow directions, perform in a responsible manner and foster professional relationships with customers, contractors and fellow employees.

A strong work ethic, initiative and motivation are mandatory. Good academic standing from accredited university or currently enrolled in an accredited university.

Additional experience as outlined below is preferred:

Experience with commercial, K-12 schools and/or hospitals located in the State of California.

Excellent written and verbal communication and time management skills.

Computer experience including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Self-motivated and results driven. Consistently able to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
