Our testing laboratory facility is in compliance with ASTM E 329, Testing Agencies for Construction, ASTM E 543 Evaluating Agencies that Perform Nondestructive Testing, and ASTM D 3740 Evaluation of Agencies Engaged in Testing and/or Inspection of Soil or Rock Used in Engineering Design and Construction. Furthermore, the laboratory facility is inspected biannually by CCRL (National Institute of Standards and Technology) and AMRL (AASHTO Materials Reference Laboratory) and is approved by local City and County Building Inspection Departments, the Division of State Architect (DSA) – Laboratory Evaluation and Acceptance (LEA #138), California Department of Transportation (Caltrans), US Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), and pre-qualified under the California Council of Testing and Inspection Agencies (CCTIA)'s Competency Advisory Program (CAP).
Our dedicated staff is under the direction of Registered Professional Engineers and geologists as required by the aforementioned regulatory agencies, and our Construction Services Manager has more than 30 years experience in the areas of construction inspection, materials testing and construction management.
Each of our field personnel are certified with one or more of the following organizations: American Concrete Institute (ACI), National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), American Welding Society (AWS), International Conference of Building Officials (ICBO), International Code Council (ICC), and American Society of Nondestructive testing (ASNT-TC-1A/CP-189).
