COLLINS MIXON
Business Development Manager
As Business Development Manager, Carla has more than 7 years of industry related experience, and is responsible for marketing, new business development and project management related to design and on-going construction projects in the public and private market segments. Carla manages MatriScope’s lead tracking system and market reporting databases and is responsible for new business development opportunities, maintaining client relationships, promoting teaming opportunities, contract management, and project administration activities related to geotechnical design and construction inspection services. Carla received a dual Bachelor’s Degree in Business Management and Marketing from the University of Phoenix, Sacramento Campus and is actively involved in the industry. She is the current Chair of the Urban Land Institute Sacramento District Council’s Young Leaders Group (ULI YLG) and sits on the district council’s Advisory Board, participates on the Events sub-committee with Sacramento Area Chamber and Trade Organization (SACTO), involved with RECON Networking, and a member of the American Public Works Association (APWA).

MARTIN G. MEIER
Senior Project Manager of Construction Services
As Senior Project Manager of Construction Services, Marty is responsible for business development and project management of MatriScope’s construction services. His work includes client and government relations as well as interfacing with the design/construction teams and local building officials. Marty has more than 25 years of direct experience in materials testing and construction inspection, and 35 years of experience in the construction management, contracting, and engineering community. He received a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management and a Bachelor of the Arts degree in General Business Management and Marketing from Western Michigan University. Marty has been certified as an ICC Reinforced Concrete Inspector and ACI Field Technician, Level I. He is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA) as well as the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA). Marty has focused his efforts on project services involving local governmental agencies and other public and private sector entities. His experience includes numerous accounts in the Northern California area specializing in quality assurance, construction inspection, and materials testing services on complex and diverse projects. His project experience includes high-tech/bio-tech, facilities, industrial processing, commercial developments, municipalities, public/private schools, universities, energy facilities, refineries, and medical centers.
