Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for an entry-level Marketing Assistant at our corporate headquarters, conveniently located in Downtown Sacramento, CA. This role offers a unique chance to join our dynamic team and contribute to our ongoing success.

POSITION OVERVIEW: 

Under Supervision of the Marketing & Communications Manager— 

  • Production of five (5) to ten (10) proposal responses weekly from short form sales letters to detailed Request for Proposal packages. 

  • Assist in the development and execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to promote the company’s brand and sales goals. 

  • Provide general administrative support to the marketing team, including scheduling, coordinating meetings, and managing marketing-related inquiries. 

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and maintain marketing materials, including brochures, presentations, and website content. 

  • Coordinate and participate in industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the engineering firm and establish brand presence. 

  • Assist in the production of marketing collateral, such as graphics, videos, and other multimedia materials. 

  • Support the preparation and submission of proposals, bids, and other marketing documents to prospective clients. 

  • Assure overall high quality is maintained for all outgoing material. 

  • Maintain & create company personnel resumes, project experience lists and narratives. 

  • Utilize the Client Resource Management database (Salesforce) including maintenance of lead tracking, contacts, clients, and proposals. 

  • Assure bid lists, public agencies vendor lists, City/County Building Dept Approved Special inspection lists are current. 

 

REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with strong prioritization and time management skills. 

  • Proactive and eager to learn, with a collaborative mindset to work effectively within a team. 

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic team environment, meeting critical deadlines even under pressure. 

  • Self-motivated and resilient, able to take initiative and drive projects forward with determination. 

  • Hardworking and focused, consistently putting in the effort to achieve results and contribute to team success. 

 

EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Communications (preferred), or demonstrated equivalent experience  

  • Proficient in Adobe InDesign and Microsoft (Word, Excel, Publisher) 

  • Prior knowledge of RFP process with proposal preparation experience and or Marketing and proposal coordination experience (preferred) 

  • Familiarity with A/E/C industry (preferred) 

 

Job Type: Full-time 

Pay: $25.00 per hour
